It's A Wonderful Life! Aging With Developmental Disabilities Conference:

Thanks for attending this special occasion conference! As people with developmental disabilities face aging issues, it crucial that service providers and families prepare to provide individuals with the ingredients to put the best “icing” on a long and wonderful life.
This "special occasion" event promoted program best practices, shared aging and disability issues, revealed preventative health measures, and demonstrated family supports and service innovations.

Our Keynote speakers, Tamar Heller and Matthew P. Janicki, Ph.D. inspired attendees to manage change and capitalize on opportunities under the most challenging of circumstances; while breakout session presenters pointed attendees toward more effective ways to obtain desired results. Continuing Education Units and Continuing Rehabilitation Credits were available.
Attendees included staff of organizations and families concerned about the delivery of quality vocational, residential, medical, and independent living services to adults with developmental disabilities.
