It's A Wonderful Life! Aging With Developmental Disabilities Conference:
September 14 & 15, 2006 at the Country Springs Hotel, Waukesha
This "special occasion" event promoted program best practices, shared aging and disability issues, revealed preventative health measures, and demonstrated family supports and service innovations.
Conference participants were interested in quality services and planning for aging adults with developmental disabilities.

Attendees included staff of organizations and families concerned about the delivery of quality vocational, residential, medical, and independent living services to adults with developmental disabilities.
Conference partners include St. Coletta of Wisconsin, Inc.; Bethesda Lutheran Homes and Services, Inc.; Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Wisconsin, Inc.; Milwaukee Center for Independence; Wisconsin DD Council.

Rehabilitation For Wisconsin, Inc. (RFW) is a statewide nonprofit membership association located in Madison, Wisconsin. Our members consist of over 50 community rehabilitation programs. RFW provides leadership, advocacy, education and other services to its members and works to build strong partnerships between community rehabilitation programs, public policy makers and the community of people with disabilities in Wisconsin.
