Marketing and Communications Director
Statewide trade association seeks a professional, detail-oriented person to plan and implement a PR and marketing strategy. Develop and maintain the association’s image with the public and government. Maintain and seek opportunities to grow membership. Plan and manage communications with members and others to bring awareness of association’s strategic plan, mission and activities. Must be able to juggle multiple projects and timelines with excellent organization and communication skills.
Education Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications or journalism
Experience Requirements:
- Three years of marketing or public relations experience
- Writing, editing and disseminating press releases
- Developing and designing brochures, newsletters (including electronic) PowerPoint presentations
- Website design and maintenance
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Professional, Adobe PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator and working knowledge of HTML, CSS and preferably XHTML (Dreamweaver)
- Trade association or non-profit experience a plus

Human Services Supervisor - Career Executive
This position is located in the Department of Health and Family Services (DHFS); Division of Long Term Support (DLTS); Bureau of Long Term Support (BLTS) Children’s Services Section (CSS) in Madison.
Job Duties: The Children’s Services Section (CSS) Chief will set policies, program directions and standards, and develop funding to foster the development of state of the art service approaches for children with disabilities and long-term support needs. This position is responsible for long- and short-term planning, evaluation and data collection, as well as program oversight and monitoring. The chief will educate and collaborate with elected officials and other state and federal agencies about the needs of the children served. This position will also assist in the development of funding streams, policy directions and service programs that assist children and their families to lead satisfying lives in their home communities. It is also responsible to assure coordination and collaboration between various agencies and divisions charged with meeting the needs of children with disabilities and their families. These agencies include: the Department of Public Instruction, HeadStart, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Division of Public Health - Children with Special Health Care Needs Program, Division of Children and Family Services and the Division of Health Care Access and Accountability. This position will represent Wisconsin’s community-based system for children with disabilities and long-term support needs within the Department, the state, on a national level and with the media. Other duties include administering the operation of the staff in the CSS, operating budget, strategic plan, information technology and the annual and biennial state budget processes.
