RFW Membership Levels
Rehabilitation For Wisconsin Inc. is the association for Wisconsin’s Community Rehabilitation Programs. We represent more than 50 non-profit agencies providing rehabilitation and employment opportunities to people with disabilities or other special needs. Our members provide services to over 50,000 individuals annually.
RFW members may also include individuals, government agencies, educational institutions, other non-profits, and students with an interest in improving the lives of people with disabilities in Wisconsin.

Corporate Membership
A Corporate member is a organization whose primary purpose is to provide vocational, employment, residential, independent living, and/or other support services for persons with disabilities or who are disadvantaged. The following organizations types are eligible:
- a not-for-profit organization duly qualified under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, or any successor or replacement law and qualified to do business in the State of Wisconsin, whose primary purpose is to directly provide vocational, employment, residential, independent living, and/or other support services for persons with disabilities or who are disadvantaged.
- a sub-unit of county, state, or federal government whose primary purpose is to directly provide vocational, employment, residential, independent living, and/or other support services for persons with disabilities or who are disadvantaged.
- a for-profit business whose primary purpose is to directly provide vocational, employment, residential, independent living, and/or other support services for persons with disabilities or who are disadvantaged.

- Corporate members are eligible to serve on the RFW Board and they have voting privileges.

Annual Dues:
Annual dues are calculated based on the number of Full Time Employees (F.T.E.) and ranges between $200 for small organizations to $5500 for organizations with over 61 employees. Associate Membership
An Associate Member is a not-for-profit Corporation qualified under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and authorized to do business in the State of Wisconsin; an entity of federal, state or local government; or a for profit business authorized by the State of Wisconsin to provide human services, providing services similar to or in support of the services provided by a Corporate Member and which has been determined by the Board as not eligible for Corporate Membership. Potential Associate Members could include:
- Federal, State or Local units of government organizations that do not deliver direct services, but have interests in the field of rehabilitation.
- Regional or statewide associations or organizations related to or interested in the field of rehabilitation.
- For profit businesses providing services similar to or in support of the services provided by a Corporate Member.

- Associate members are welcome to serve on various RFW committees and work groups.
Associate members are not eligible to serve on the RFW Board, nor do they have voting privileges.

Professional Affiliate Membership
A Professional Affiliate Member is an individual providing professional services to persons with disabilities or Corporate members of RFW, Inc., who is deemed by the RFW Board of Directors as bringing a valued service to the Corporate members.

Student Membership
Student membership is open to undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled in an accredited college or university in at least 50% of a normal, full-time course of study related to providing vocational, employment, residential, independent living, and/or other support services for persons with disabilities or who are disadvantaged.

Student members of RFW are entitled to the following membership benefits:
- Develop your professional identity. Start now to develop the professional contacts, leadership skills and visibility needed to establish a professional career. RFW members located throughout the state. RFW tracks national trends and happenings.
- Find employment opportunities. As a student member, you will join a network of thousands of professionals working in industry, academia and government. Many members publish job openings on their web sites and have access to intern opportunities while still in school.
- Take part in RFW’s Internet presence that includes an extensive web site, various listservs and access to industry news and happenings.
- E-mail subscription to RFW Loop Electronic Newsletter (If requested).
- Access to RFW Membership List.
- Student members are welcome to serve on various RFW committees and work groups.
- Leadership and networking opportunities through participation in association events, meetings, and other opportunities.
