Jean Zweifel, CEO of Greenco Industries in Monroe, was recently appointed to the Wisconsin State Use Board as the work center representative. The State Use Law established the State Use Board to help match the needs of State procurement with the products and services produced by State certified work centers. The Board is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the implementation of the State Use Programs. Zweifel comments, "I am pleased to be joining the State Use Board and look forward to representing Wisconsin work centers." The Board's goals are to maximize state agency contracting with work centers, insure the procurement of quality products and services at fair market prices, and provide a positive impact on the employment of individuals with disabilities. There were 3,057 people with severe disabilities working on state contracts in Fiscal Year 2005. They earned over $2 million in wages during that year. The next State Use Board meeting is scheduled for April 13, 2006.

Jean Zweifel is the CEO of Greenco Industries in Monroe, Wisconsin. She has been at Greenco for 19 years. During that time Greenco has grown from a 9000 square foot building to 57,000 square feet. Since 1997 Greenco has started a supported living service department, which now includes 4 adult family homes and supported apartments. Greenco offers work services, day services, supported employment, direct placement, transition to work and residential services.
