WCA is an association of county governments assembled for the purpose of serving and representing counties. Information for each county is easily accessible from their Counties Directory page. Established in 1995, the NCDDR performs research, technical assistance and demonstration activities focusing on the dissemination and utilization of disability research funded by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR).


Center for Assistive Technology and Environmental Access (CATEA): http://www.assistivetech.net/index.cfm

Database of assistive technology products as well as electronic links to variety of private and public disability services and resources.


American Association of People with Disabilities: www.aapd-dc.org

This is a membership site that explains the goals and mission of the AAPD


Choice Employment: www.choiceemployment.com

Another site to visit to seek employment and list resume.


Job Access: www.jobaccess.org

This is a relatively new site for individuals with disabilities to search for employment opportunities. Employers can also post job openings.


The ARC Home Page: www.thearc.org

A great site to learn more about the ARC and its initiatives. Among other options you can search for local chapters, review research efforts.


Training Resource Network, Inc.: www.trninc.com/index.html

This site provides information on supported employment, self-determination, person centered planning and includes a Job listing service.


Wisconsin Council on Children and Families: www.wccf.org

This is an excellent site to obtain information on legislation impacting Wisconsin children and their families. Check this site out!


Wisconsin Council on Developmental Disabilities: www.wcdd.org

The site is of interest to families of and advocates for persons with developmental disabilities.

This site is ideal for timely information on legislative activities in Wisconsin. For detailed information there is a "stiff" annual fee.
