RFW and WRA would like to congratulate Kaylen Hagens (pictured below on the left) and Laura Rice (pictured below on the right), the winners of our 2005 Leadership Awards. Kaylen, a social worker from the Columbia County Department of Health and Family Services, was presented with Rehabilitation Leadership Award. Kaylen, who has been in the field for over 15 years and has committed herself to her clients with disabilities, was selected because of her tireless dedication, enthusiasm, and professionalism. Laura Rice, the Director of Wisconsin's State Use Program was presented with the Government Leadership Award this year. When Laura was appointed to her current position, in 2000, her goal was to provide a positive impact on employment for Wisconsin citizens with disabilities. She has worked tirelessly to increase sales from state agencies to work centers. In 2000, total sales were just over $6.5 million and today sales have grown to nearly $9 million. Her efforts have clearly been successful! Congratulations to Kaylen and Laura!
