Performances by Encore Studio for the Performing Arts

Encore Studio for the Performing Arts offers an innovative, inclusive, and professional environment where all people work together in the pursuit of artistic and theatrical excellence. Encore is one of the very few professional theatre companies for people with disabilities in the United States! "A vigorous addition to Madison's theatre scene!" says Dennis Granzen of The Capital Times.

"I Can't Build a Team by Myself"... Rachel's support meeting turns into a battle of egos as doctor, therapist, support broker and service provider alike ram ideological heads over the very real issue of Rachel's well-being. If only they would calm down and listen to what Rachel has to say...

A client's-eye view of good intentions run amuck. You won't forget the songs...or the message. "What I Need"... This performance looks into the world of direct support professionals and the people they support. A satirical depiction of needs, both professional and personal. A short but powerful performance with music and flying laundry. Visit their website at http://www.encorestudio.org.

RFW offers a variety of training and educational opportunities to its members and the rehabilitation community including Professional Development Seminars (PDS), an other special conferences and training events.
