Rehabilitation For Wisconsin, Inc. (RFW) is a statewide nonprofit membership association located in Madison , Wisconsin. Our members consist of over 50 organizations and other individuals dedicated to addressing the employment, residential and community support needs of people with disabilities or other daily living challenges. RFW provides leadership, advocacy, education and other services to its members and works to build strong partnerships between community rehabilitation programs, public policy makers and the community of people with disabilities in Wisconsin. 2008 Rehabilitation & Transition Conference
Please join us for the 2008 Rehabilitation & Transition Conference on April 9-11 at The American Club in Kohler. This year we will be "Blasting Off to the Stars" and taking a look at the future of the industry with sessions in exciting tracks, such as: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Employment, Collaborative Partnerships, Mid-Management, Ethics, Best Practices, Transition and Special Interest.
Professional Development Seminars
Rehabilitation For Wisconsin, Inc. (RFW) is pleased to offer its members and other organizations and individuals involved in the rehabilitation community, professional development seminars (PDS). These half-day to full-day seminars include a lively blend of presentations, interactive activities, discussions on ethics and professional boundaries, best practices, and strategies for balancing competing principles, values, and priorities. RFW Member Benefit: Grassroots Training
In 2007, RFW continues to provide educational opportunities to members about how to unite people with disabilities, employees, guardians, and other disability advocates and how to build relationships with their elected officials. RFW is offering free grassroots training to members. We will hold the training at the location and date of your choice. Fill out a Grassroots Training Form and return it to the RFW office if you are interested in having us coordinate an event with your organization.
